Crazy Cabin Big Band is born from the initiative of Miguel Angel Cortés, the result of years of experience collaborating with different Big Bands in Madrid. From the Amaniel Big Band and passing through the Walter Sax Big Band, the Mad Sax Big Band, and the Metro Big Band. Combining the efforts of musicians, directors, and arrangements from those formations and various collaborations, this big band is created, aiming to make sustainable the dream of a formation with great professionals and the intention of creating a novel, imaginative project, where diversity fits and each show is unique and unrepeatable. With a wide and diverse repertoire spanning from classics like Count Basie or Glenn Miller to contemporaries like Michael Bublé or Robin McKelle, navigating from the most classic jazz, Latin, or the most thrilling swing.
On this occasion, we will celebrate with jazz a golden era, with a diverse repertoire in which themes from Sinatra, Michael Bublé, Count Basie, or Buddy Rich will be mixed, with vocal and instrumental pieces, where time will stop for an instant, between the thrilling rhythms and the vertiginous solos. At the voice will be Miguel Angel Cortés and at the musical direction, Juan Carlos Lopez. With a great formation: Santiago Andrés on baritone sax, Pau SanMartín tenor sax, Daniel Cardoso alto sax, Jorge Rodriguez alto sax, Paco Marquez tenor sax, Alvaro Gete bass trombone, Lev Borovski trombone, Patricia Agudo trombone, David Vazquez trumpet, Santi Vallejo trumpet, Carlos Arroyo trumpet, Hector Oliveira double bass, Iván Vaquero drums, and Juan Carlos López on piano.
