After a long period of composition and recording, Juan Zelada returns in 2026 with his new album “Tension and Release”!
 
 
After the compilation album “Birds Chirping” (2024), which included the EPs “Cool Mood” (2022) and “Al otro lado” (2023), he returns to the sound of timeless songs with a vintage feel and a cast of great musicians, recorded at Cool Mood Studios in Madrid.
 
 
His live performances are always powerful, full of soul energy and catchy songs, seeking interaction with the audience in both English and Spanish.
 
 
The first single, “What if time,” will be released in January on streaming platforms, once again recapturing the groovy and evocative character of his best-known songs.
 
 
The rest of the album will provide a contrast of hopeful stories and reflections, with its eclectic musicality, both “retro” and “fresh.”
 
 
After almost 10 years touring the United Kingdom, with proven success, playing on the BBC, and touring the UK, Juan Zelada has now been based in Spain for more than 10 years, releasing five more albums, powerful concerts, boundary-pushing songs, collaborations with nationally established artists, and endless new songs that demonstrate his dedication, commitment, and love for music.
