(2025), directed by Francesco Zippel, is a documentary (winner of the Nastro d'Argento 2026) that explores the visceral and tormented relationship between writer James Ellroy (author of masterpieces like The Black Dahlia and L.A. Confidential) and his hometown, Los Angeles, described as the source of his traumas but also as the center of his fervent literary imagination.
