Doctor Velvet Revival is a powerful and genuine rock & roll band based in Madrid that pays tribute to the stratospheric American musician and composer Nick Curran, as well as the sound of his influences (Little Richard, T-Bone Walker, Misfits, Ramones, The Sonics…). They tackle a wide-ranging repertoire that forms an explosive musical cocktail, encompassing everything from Rhythm & Blues to Punk, with meticulous attention to Nick Curran's unmistakable sound. Doctor Velvet Revival was formed in late 2025, comprised of a seven-piece all-star band from the African American and rock & roll scene, delivering an energetic and electrifying live performance.
